Strange slogan...

There's a brand of whisky here (I think it's a local one, I don't know too much about whiskies) called Blender's Choice or something like that and the slogan (and the whole campain of the brand is based on this idea) is in Spanish "entre tus verdades y vos" wich means "between your thruths and you".

I think that the idea they want to give is of a manly man that drinks a good old scotch in his den after a busy day, an appropiate time for a busy man to relax and make wise statemets about life. But it also has another (rather obvious) meaning: the idea that you can drink in order to evade the unpleasent truths in your life. That is, between those awful truths that you don't want to face (you are a loser, you have no den and you are so poor that can't afford a decent brand of whisky) and your consciousness put our alcoholic beverage and get so drunk that you won't have to deal with reality anymore.
